1. General
MoneySaver (the "Company" or "we") respects the privacy of users of moneysaver.co.il and the MoneySaver system (together, the "Service"). This policy details what information is collected, how it is processed and stored, with whom it is shared, and your rights. It forms an integral part of the Terms of Use.
Using the Service constitutes consent to this policy. You are not required by law to provide information, but without it we cannot provide the Service.
2. What Information We Collect
- Registration details – name, email, phone, business and billing details.
- Accountant details – the name and email of the accountant defined by the user as the report destination.
- Content from connected inboxes – with the user's authorization, the system scans correspondence to locate financial documents (invoices, receipts, confirmations) and stores the relevant documents and extracted data (vendor, date, amount, VAT). Irrelevant correspondence is not stored.
- Directly submitted content – documents uploaded or sent to the system, including via WhatsApp.
- Technical and usage data – IP address, browser type, pages viewed and system actions, for operation, security and improvement.
3. How the Information Is Used
- Providing the Service – locating expenses, extracting data, producing monthly and annual reports and sending them to the defined accountant.
- Account operation – identification, billing, support and customer service.
- Service improvement – statistical, anonymized analysis of usage patterns.
- Security – detecting and preventing abuse, fraud and unauthorized access.
- Communications – operational updates, and marketing subject to consent with opt-out at any time.
4. Inbox Access Permissions
- Inbox access occurs only with the user's explicit authorization, via the provider's secure OAuth mechanisms (e.g. Google or Microsoft). Your email password is never stored by us.
- Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Authorization can be revoked at any time — via account settings or directly with the email provider.
5. Sharing with Third Parties
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is shared only with: the user's designated accountant (per the user's instructions); subcontractors (cloud hosting, payment, email and infrastructure providers bound by confidentiality and security agreements); as required by law, court order or competent authority; and to protect rights in legal disputes.
6. Cookies
The site uses cookies for ongoing operation (such as language preference and login), measurement and analytics. Cookies can be blocked or deleted via browser settings, though some features may not function properly.
7. Information Security
We apply accepted and advanced security measures, including TLS encryption, encryption of sensitive data, access controls and monitoring. See the information security page. No system is completely immune.
8. Retention and Deletion
- Information is retained while the account is active and as required by law (including bookkeeping regulations).
- Upon account closure or user request, information no longer needed is deleted, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Disconnecting an inbox stops future scans; already-collected documents remain until deleted by the user or account closure.
9. Your Rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981, you may: review information held about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion, subject to legal retention obligations; and opt out of marketing communications at any time. 10. International Transfer
Some information may be stored or processed on cloud servers outside Israel, with providers meeting accepted security and privacy standards, in accordance with the law.
11. Minors
The Service is intended for ages 18 and up. We do not knowingly collect information about minors.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site.
